St Alban's is the only Church of England secondary school in Birmingham. We welcome pupils of all faiths. Tolerance and mutual understanding are promoted positively within a christian ethos. With places for a maximum of 400 pupils, it offers the security and safety of a small school. New FacilitiesThe school was established in 1871 and moved to its present modern attractive buildings in 1965. The first phase of an exciting new building programme is now complete, with a large, modern Technology suite, a new Mathematics suite and an Expressive Arts wing. |
The Governors, Trustees and the Diocese are committed to further improvements and expansion of the school. A lift has been installed, giving pupils and staff with limited mobility access to all parts of the building. There are plans for more science laboratories and a 3,000,000 Fitness and Community Centre to be attached to the school.
